SMS earned 3rd place in the Regional Quiz Bowl Tournament held in Searcy on Saturday, Jan. 18. The quiz bowl team competed against seven other teams in the region, earning a spot in the state tournament. The team members are Avery Williams, Thatcher Allen, Bri Day, Peyton Varnell, Kendal Soapes, and Megan Moring (shown from left to right, front row to back row). Peyton Varnell was named to the All-Tournament team with the third highest scoring average of all the participants.
