        PARENT INVOLVEMENT GOALS

The goal of the Sheridan School District Parent Involvement Program is to encourage, enable, and help parents and other district stake holders discover their responsibility, and full potential in:

o     Assisting parents in finding what parent involvement can do for your child’s achievement

o     Discovering how you, no matter what your culture, language, or physical needs are, can be a part of the school’s activities

o     Learning who to contact at the school for various needs throughout the school

o     Becoming a part of the process of creating ideas for family engagement that will be connected to student learning and improvement
