Parents/Guardians will NO LONGER HAVE TO SUBSCRIBE TO SSD ALERTS. The Sheridan School District will now be using a messaging service that allows us to send text messages and voice calls to parents/guardians using the contact information we already have on file. Parents/guardians will automatically receive information regarding school closings and other important school-related information. This new system will help us ensure that no parent/guardian misses out on receiving important information regarding his/her child's school. With our new system, we will no longer use email.
Should we have the need to cancel classes due to inclement weather, we will inform families using the following methods:
- Text message
- Local news stations
- Website Live Feed
