Let’a celebrate!
7th grade Lady Jackets brought home a win!
Last week, Layton Wallace surprised his Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Lewis with this original November 23, 1963 newspaper! The class was reviewing primary sources and Mrs. Lewis was pointing out her classroom collection of original newspapers from historic events in US History. Layton brought this newspaper to add to her collection the next day! Thank you to Layton, and the Wallace family for their kind generosity!
Turn it up, Lady Jackets 7th grade volleyball team! Your enthusiasm is contagious!
Yesterday a surprise arrived for our Media Specialist, Ms. Strickland, a welcome basket from all the district Media Specialists.
SSD knows how to give a warm welcome! ♥️
