The Sheridan High School Theatre Department is thrilled to announce its upcoming performances of Alice in Wonderland on April 4-6 and April 11-13.
Prepare to journey down the rabbit hole and experience the enchanting world of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale brought to life on stage by a talented cast and crew of SSD students. With whimsical characters and captivating storytelling, in an imaginative place, audiences of all ages are sure to be spellbound by this magical production.
Written by SHS senior Tucker Dowler and a team of SHS Advanced Theatre students, this adaptation of Alice in Wonderland promises to be a feast for the senses, blending vibrant characters, dynamic performances, and innovative stagecraft to create an unforgettable theatrical experience.
Starring Gracelynn Neal as the Queen of Hearts, Emily Wise and the Cheshire Cat, Heidi Jenkins as the narrator, Hannah Doshier as the duchess, Liam Foshee as the cook, Vinnie Da Silva as the Knave of Hearts, John Pfeneger as the King of Hearts, Nate Deckleman as Humpty Dumpty, Dalton Summit and Austin McCann as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, Alex Johnston as the Mad Hatter, Tucker Dowler as the March Hare, and Zoey Newcomb as Alice, and many more of your favorite students and characters will be live on stage.
Artistic direction by Alex Johnston, stage direction by Tucker Dowler, and stage management by Kelsi Metzger. Alice in Wonderland is written, directed, designed, constructed, and managed by Sheridan School District students in grades 7-12. There will be an art gallery of Alice in Wonderland artwork by East End Middle School art students.
Performance schedule:
April 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, and 13, 2024 at 7 p.m.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
All performances will be held at McKenzie Hall, 800 W Vine Street, Sheridan AR, 72150.
