Plans are underway for the possible formation of a new Career and Technical Education Center to serve the Saline County area, including the Sheridan School District. For the past six to eight months, the CTE Executive Committee has been engaged in a feasibility study regarding the construction of the center, which would model the CTE Center in Frisco, Texas.

"Should this project come to fruition, our community will benefit tremendously," said Superintendent Jerrod Williams. "It is well known that Arkansas, like the rest of the country, is experiencing a middle-skills gap in its workforce. CTE Centers help bridge this gap, inevitably helping both workers and employers."
