In the event of inclement weather that requires school to be closed, the District will have a traditional snow day that will be made up at a later date. NOTE: Due to recent changes in Arkansas law, public schools are no longer allowed to use AMI days to count toward their required days/hours of instruction.

If school campuses are closed or opening is delayed due to inclement weather, these announcements will go out by text to families and staff. Notification will also be provided to KARK (Ch. 4), KATV (Ch. 7), KTVH (Ch. 11) and KLRT (Ch. 16) television stations. Notices will also be posted on the school district's website and social media accounts.
