The Sheridan School District provides daily bus transportation to and from school for those students in the district who qualify. It is the goal of the Sheridan Transportation Department to provide transportation in the safest, most dependable, and efficient manner possible.

The Sheridan School District has released its snow/ice route adjustments for the 2023-2024 school year.  Please click here to check your children’s bus number and route to see if there are adjustments due to snow or ice.

If you have any questions concerning these changes or if you’re not sure of your bus’ exact pick up and drop off location, please call Leann Sallee at the Transportation Office at 870-942-5522 or contact by email at leannsallee@sheridanschools.org.

NOTE: If the bus driver finds a road to be hazardous during his/her bus route, the driver may need to make additional adjustments to the route at that time.  If the driver is not able to safely pick up your child, you will be contacted via the Transportation Office’s text messaging system for your specific bus route.  You may also contact the Transportation Office at the above phone number.

School Bus Safety Tips

The Sheridan School District will be using a new system in 2023-24 to generate text messages to bus-rider families. The system will use automated data based on which bus a student typically rides. Parents will NOT be required to sign up for text notifications. If you are receiving messages and need to be taken off the list for bus-rider texts, or if your students rides a different bus than the one for which you receive notifications, email leannsallee@sheridanschools.org with your updated information.
