Give your child a great start with Pre-K at Sheridan Elementary School or East End Elementary School and run by the Dawson Education Service Cooperative.
If your child will be eligible for Pre-K during the 2026-2027 school year, now is the time to begin the registration process. Your child must be at least 3 years old on or before August 1, 2026 to apply for preschool. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-qualified basis. (Classes are funded through Arkansas Better Chance for School Success and have specific, state-mandated eligibility guidelines. If any spots remain to be filled after all students who are eligible based on income have been accepted students will be accepted into the program based on a sliding scale where families will be responsible for paying a portion of the tuition.)

During our Spring Physical Clinic in May, they provided 263 FREE sport and band physicals, bringing the total to an incredible 453 FREE physicals provided during the 2026 school year!
We are so grateful for the care, time, and dedication they continue to pour into our students and families.
Collectively, the group has 298 years experience in education, including 213 with the Sheridan School District.

The Sheridan High School graduation ceremony will be Monday, May 18 at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs. The event starts at 7:00 p.m., and doors to the arena open at 6:00 p.m.
Please note: Bank OZK Arena has a clear bag policy. We will post a list of prohibited items, along with a parking map later today.

After pulling off a 3-2 victory in extra innings yesterday against Vilonia, the Lady Jackets play in the second round of the Class 5A state playoffs today. Sheridan will take on the host, Greene County Tech, starting at 12:30 p.m.
