Henderson State University has announced that Sheridan Yellowjacket assistant football coach Glennon Bobo will be among those honored as 2025 inductees to the Henderson State University Athletic Hall of Honor.
“For the 28th time in school history, Henderson State will bestow the highest athletic honor the university has to offer on a group of Reddie legends this fall when they are added to the Hall of Honor as a part of the 2025 class,” stated the HSU press release. GLENNON BOBO (Category I: Football and Men's Basketball)
A terror for the Reddies at defensive end for some of the best teams in school history, Glennon Bobo was a four-year standout for Henderson State from 2011 to 2014. A three-time All-GAC selection and a two-time first team honoree in 2013 and 2014, Bobo ranks second all-time at Henderson State in tackles for loss with 46.5 in 43 games played. Bobo compiled 13.5 or more tackles for loss the last three years of his career in Arkadelphia as well as 13 sacks and six forced fumbles. A two-time All Super Region 3 selection as a junior and senior, Bobo helped lead the Reddies to GAC championships in 2012 and 2013. Henderson State was 43-8 overall during his college career. He was named to the GAC Football All-Decade Team in 2020.
The Reddie Hall of Honor induction ceremony will take place on Friday, Oct. 10 in Henderson State’s Garrison Center Grand Ballroom.
