Current Scholarship Information
***Extended to April 30th***- Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union Scholarship: All scholarship applicants must be a member of Diamond Lakes or have an immediate family member that belongs to the credit union. ***Extended to April 30th***-Grant County Chamber of Commerce Scholarships: (Select titles to download application). You can turn in completed applications to the counselor's office, or mail the Chamber at:202 N. Oak St. Sheridan, AR 72150.
Bob Shannon Memorial Scholarship: A $1,250 scholarship will be awarded to a student with demonstrated financial need. Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA and at least a 19 composite score on the ACT.
Steve Brown Memorial Scholarship: A $1,250 scholarship will be awarded to a student with demonstrated financial need. Applicants must have a 2.5 GOA and at least a 19 composite score on the ACT.
Kemp Nall Memorial Scholarship: A $1,250 scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student for their service in the community. Applicants must have contributed a substantial amount of quality community service, a record of honors and awards for school and community accomplishment, and at least a 3.0 GPA.
Larry Freier Community Service Scholarship: A $1,250 scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student for their service to the community. Applicants must have contributed a substantial amount of quality community service, a record of honors and awards for school and community accomplishment, and at least a 3.0 GPA.
Justin Welch Memorial Scholarship: A $1,250 scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding, well rounded student athlete who plans to attend a college or university. Applicants must have at least a 19 composite score on the ACT, a 2.5 GPA, and must have participated in an athletic program during the 12th grade year.
***Extended to April 30th**- P.E.O. Scholarship: P.E.O. will be offering scholarships for senior girls. There is no formal application to complete, but students should put together a packet to turn in. The scholarship packet should include the following: Current High School Transcript, Resume listing honors, activities, and community service hours while at SHS, and an essay outlining future plans and ambitions. All materials should be emailed to email@example.com.
***Extended to May 1st***- Benton Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship: One student from Sheridan High School will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. There is no minimum GPA or ACT score required to apply! Click here to download a copy of the application.
May 1-First Electric Trust/Operation Round-Up 2020 Scholarship Program: Nine $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to seniors whose parents/guardians are members of First Electric Cooperative and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applications can be picked up in the counseling center or visit https://www.firstelectric.coop/scholarships. Applications can be mailed to the address on the application, or dropped off at the Bryant office located at 230 Market Place Ave., Suite 1, Bryant.
July 1-Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship (Lottery Scholarship): For High School seniors, the only requirement is a 19 on the ACT or ACT equivalent score (990 on SAT), FAFSA Required. To apply for this scholarship as well as other grants and scholarships from ADHE, visit scholarships.adhe.edu.
