Delta Kappa Gamma - High School Scholarship- Attention Senior Girls: If you plan to attend college and major in education, you should apply for the Delta Kappa Gamma recruitment grant. Get an application from Mr. Lamartiniere in the counselor's office. Deadline to apply was March 8, 2021.
American Legion Coudret Trust and Garner Trust Scholarships: The American Legion, Dept. of AR, is offering eight scholarships. Four are from the Coudret Trust Foundation in the amount of $1,000 and four are from the Garner Trust Foundation in the amount of $2,500. Applicants must be children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of American Legionnaires in good standing of two or more consecutive years' membership. Step children of living Legionnaires may apply. For all eligibility requirements, pick up an application in the counseling center! Deadline to apply was March 12th.
Gary L. Kees Memorial Scholarship: For Individuals pursuing a degree in Education
If your career goal is to become a teacher, this scholarship opportunity is for you.

Grant County Farm Bureau: The Grant County Farm Bureau Board of Directors will award two (2) $1,000 scholarships to an Agriculture related major OR Family and Consumer Science major. The scholarship recipients will be applicants who are graduates of a Grant County High School or are a resident of Grant County. Contact Mr. Lamartiniere in the Counselor's Office for details and/or application.

Philanthropic Education Organization: The local chapter of P.E.O. is pleased to offer scholarships to SHS Senior girls. Applicants will need to submit 1) Current High School transcript showing GPA, 2) Resume listing honors, activities, and community service hours while in high school, and 3) Essay outlining your future plans and ambitions. Deadline to apply was March 29, 2021.
Henderson State University - Partners In Education (PIE) Teacher Education Scholarship:
For high school seniors planning to attend Henderson State University and majoring in Education. The HSU Partners In Education will award $500($250 per semester) per year for four years for a total of $2,000. In order to maintain scholarship, the recipient must maintain a 2.75 or higher GPA, follow a program of study leading to a teaching license, and be admitted into the HSU Teacher Education Program by the Second semester of the junior year. Deadline to Apply was March 30, 2021.
Arkansas State University: A-State College of Education and Behavioral Science has a scholarship opportunity for graduating seniors that are planning to declare a major in any of the following: Elementary Education, Mid-level Education, Special Education, Physical Education, Sport Management, Exercise Science, Health Promotions, and Psychology. Deadline to Apply was April 1, 2021
Chaos Volleyball Club Scholarship:
Eligibility: Must have participated as an athlete for a Chaos Volleyball Club team at least one year.

Clay Warrick Memorial Scholarship: $500 One-Time Scholarship
You will need to 1) Describe your Extracurricular Activities such as Organizations & Clubs, 2) List Honors and Awards, 3) List other scholarships or financial aid you have been granted, 4) Identify Community Service Activities, 5) Describe Work Activities (If Applicable), 6) Attach three letters of recommendation, and 7) Describe how the scholarship money will be used and how it will be incorporated into your college/career plans.
Applications should be submitted to Mr. Lamartiniere in the Counselor's Office.

Conway Regional Health Foundation:
Conway Regional Health Foundation Scholarships are intended to aid students who are actively pursuing, on a full-time basis, education and training in health-related career fields. The scholarships, in the form of grants, are awarded each year to students who are working toward a degree or certificate from an accredited institution. The recipient shall be studying one of the following: Medicine, Laboratory/Research, Radiology, Surgical Technology, Medical Information, Nursing BSN or MSN, Respiratory Therapy, or Health Services Administration. Deadline to Apply was April 2, 2021
Diamond Lakes Federal Credit Union - 2021 $1,000 Scholarship Award Program: All scholarship recipients must be a member of Diamond Lakes or have an immediate family member that belongs to the credit Union. Recipients must be a current high school senior graduating this year. Application deadline was April 2, 2021. Contact Mr. Lamartiniere in the Counselor's Office for an application.
Hope Carter Memorial Scholarship: Application Deadline was April 2, 2021

Shelby Rhodes Memorial Scholarship: Selected recipient will receive a $1,000 one time scholarship. Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA or a 24 ACT Score. Application deadline was April 2nd.
Carson Fleming Memorial Scholarship: A one-time $1,000 scholarship, Scholarship cannot be renewed and recipients can only receive the scholarship once.
Eligible candidates for this scholarship must meet/submit the following: 1) A current senior attending Sheridan High School, 2) A cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above, 3) Completed scholarship application, 4) Attach an official high school transcript, 5) Attach 2 letters of recommendation from non-family members.

Grant County - 4H Scott Tractor Scholarship:

Sheridan Rotary Club Scholarship: The Sheridan Rotary Club announces that the club will offer three (3) $1,000.00 scholarships for this year's graduating seniors. Application Deadline: April 9, 2021

Sheridan Lions Club: $1,000.00 Scholarship
Purpose: To reward an outstanding student who has demonstrated leadership abilities in both their school and their community, and who plans to pursue a college education.
Eligibility: a) Applicants must be currently attending Sheridan High School(Sheridan, AR) and scheduled to graduate the semester in which the scholarship is awarded; b) Applicants must be planning to attend an accredited university or college full-time (at least 12 hours) by the Fall semester following high school graduation; c) Applicants must have obtained a score of 21 or above on the ACT exam; d) Applicants must have a record of leadership, honors and awards in both school and community activities.

Benton Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship:
Recipient MUST attend an In-State college or university. Applicants must attach the following: 1) a list of activities (school, community, church, etc.) in which you have participated begining with your sophmore year. Also include a list of any special awards or recognitions you have received, 2) A recent photograph, 3) Your high school transcript, 4) 2 letters of recommendation - One from a school reference and One from a community reference. 5) Please share something with the committee that you would like for its members to know.

Hunter Kesterson Memorial Scholarship: $1,000.00 to be awarded to one applicant.
Eligible candidate for the scholarship must meet all criteria and submit all required documentation.
Criteria: 1) Must be a current senior attending Sheridan High School, 2) Must plan to pursue a Post-Secondary or College Education (Trade School, Community College or University), 3) Need 2.5 Grade Point Average (Based on 7 semesters), 4) Composite ACT score of at least 18.

Ralph G. Norman Scholarship:
The Learning Disabilities Association of Arkansas is seeking applicants for its annual Ralph G. Norman Scholarship. The Ralph G. Norman Scholarship is awarded in the amount of $2,500 to an individual with a documented learning disability who will be enrolled in the Fall Semester at a university, two-year community college, or a vocational/technical training program. The ideal scholarship recipient is an individual who:
- Recognizes and understands his or her learning disability and is able to self-advocate when necessary
- Is committed to pursuing higher academic study or career training and has begun to set realistic career goals
- Is committed to achieving personal goals despite the challenges of a learning disability
- Participates in school and community activities

The East End Community Association Scholarship: The East End Community Association (East End Ballpark) will award a $500 scholarship to one senior boy and one senior girl who registered with and participated in any sport at the East End Ballpark. Application Deadline is: Friday, April 16, 2021

* NEW * Beta Sigma Phi- Michelle Taylor Lunsford Sunshine Scholarship:
Michelle Taylor Lunsford is a former 5th grade teacher at Sheridan Intermediate School. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and gave generously of her time and resources to Arkansas Children's Hospital through the "Log A Load for Kids" event. Because this scholarship is in memory of Michelle, who always put a smile on everyone's face by her kindness and genuine compassion for others, please attach an essay of no more than 500 words about acts of kindness you perform in your daily life. This can be acts of kindness, volunteering, etc. Also, please include your need for this scholarship and how this scholarship money will benefit you.

First Electric Cooperative / Operation Round-Up: Nine $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to nine high school seniors. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on 4.0 scale through the first semester of their senior year. Deadline to apply is April 30, 2021. * NEW * Native American Scholarship Award:
The American Indian Center of Arkansas Scholarship Award Program is intended to encourage Native American youth in Arkansas to consider a college education as a means of realizing their full potential and providing them with a broader range of choices when careers and employment are chosen. In order to be eligible for this scholarship program, applicants must be of documentable Native American descent from a federally recognized tribe. The documentation required is a CDIB (Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood) card or tribal enrollment documentation from a federal recognized tribe. A copy must be furnished with the application.

Criteria: 1) Must be a graduating senior of a Grant County School, 2) Plan to attend a Community College, College, or University, 3) Has a composite ACT score of at least 19 and a 2.5 GPA, 4) Participated in an athletic program during the 12th grade.
