SSD Families: School is canceled for Feb. 6 and 7 due to the number of flu cases we’ve experienced in our district. We hope the four-day weekend will help combat the spread of the illness and give students and staff time to recuperate and return to school healthy on Monday, Feb. 10. Thursday will be made up on Friday, Feb. 21, which is one of our built in make up days. Friday will be made up using our Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) Plan on which students will complete a packet of schoolwork at home rather than making up the day in the classroom. Packets are on our website, organized by grade level for each AMI Day. Click on AMI Day 1 for your grade. You may also request a printed copy when we return to school. Click on the following link to view AMI Packets: http://bit.ly/2GbjQ77.
