SSD Alert: There is a rumor circulating on snapchat about a hit list being found at SJHS. This is not true. Although, there was not a list found by staff, the Sheridan School District and law enforcement are investigating the situation just to be safe. The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority.

Congrats to the EEI team and two SIS teams that competed in the annual Youth Entrepreneur Showcase (Y.E.S.) for Arkansas Business Plan Competition! The three teams were invited to sell their products at Park Plaza Mall today because they were among the top 25 teams in the state. At Park Plaza today, the "Fun Fizzers" team from EEI won 3rd place in Marketing, while the "Fun Frames" team from SIS placed 3rd in Best Business Plan and 4th in Best Innovation. Also, congrats to their GT facilitators: Jessica Brown (EEI) and Sherri DeSoto (SIS)!

East End Parents: We are aware of the water issue in East End. We still plan on our East End schools being open tomorrow. Please send bottled waters with your children. We also will have bottled waters available for our students. The kitchen is prepared for these types of situations. Breakfast and lunch will be served. We will be monitoring the situation and will let you know if something changes. At this time, we do not think school will need to be canceled in East End, but if that changes, we will send out an SSD Alert.
