Our 1st grade teachers and students are doing amazing work in phonics! Our students have been working hard to decode one-syllable words with consonant clusters and predictable vowel patterns, and their hard work is paying off!
On a recent assessment, 63% of our 1st graders demonstrated proficiency! We are so proud of the intentional instruction happening in our classrooms and the growth our students are showing. Way to go, 1st grade teachers and students! Keep building those strong reading foundations one word at a time!
