Winter testing will begin Jan. 10th and go through Jan. 21st. The week of Jan 24th is scheduled for NWEA make-ups.
Here are some tips to help your child do their best with confidence:
1. During testing week make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a healthy breakfast. Doing both of these things will ensure that your child is working at their full capacity.
2. Help your child be prepared. Information from the test will give teachers additional data to help support their students. We want each and every child to be successful.
3. Staying calm. When teachers and parents stay calm, this helps the students stay calm. If your child gets nervous about the test or is likely to experience anxiety during the test, help them by practicing some relaxation techniques. Mrs. Whitley, EEE's school counselor, has some great techniques if you need ideas.
