The Arkansas Department of Education has released school letter grades for the 2024-25 school year, and the Sheridan School District is proud to share that, for the second consecutive year, East End Middle School earned an “A,” while Sheridan Middle School maintained a solid “B.” East End Middle’s rise is especially noteworthy, having improved from a “D” as recently as 2021-22.
“Obviously, we are very proud of the progress our two middle schools continue to make and the results they produce. That’s a testament to the students and staff who put in the hard work to achieve outstanding results,” Pitts said.
East End Middle School earned an overall score of 554.61 – 127 points higher than the state average of 427.24 for its grade level. Sheridan Middle School scored 479.31, about 52 points above the state average.
