SMS students earned 20 medals at the Technology Student Association (TSA) State Conference yesterday!
8th Grade Parents: CAP conferences will be tomorrow 2/20 for all 8th-11th grade students. 8th grade students will not attend school at SMS. Peyton Varnell was named All Tournament at the 6A State Quiz Bowl tournament. He received this honor for his high scoring average in each match.

Students in SMS Caring & Sharing & Student Council received a message of thanks & a personalized commemorative flag from the 90th Sustainment Brigade stationed in Kabul, Afghanistan for the Veterans Day care packages that they collected and sent to those deployed.

We will be discussing student schedule options and how to register your child for classes next year. We will also have band directors available to speak to you about signing your child up for beginning band, and to fit them for an instrument. SMS held its Spelling Bee today with 46 contestants. The students did very well, and we are really proud of all of them. Our qualifiers for the Grant County Bee are Avery Williams, Fallyn Mangrum, Aerin Campbell, Sam Cypert, Ian Goins, Logan Harris, & John Pfenenger!
