The public is invited to attend an Internet Safety presentation on Monday, Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. in the Sheridan High School cafeteria. The event is sponsored by the Sheridan School District and the Grant County Sheriff's Office.

The Yellowjackets will host their annual "Sheridan Holiday Classic" on Dec. 27-29. Games begin at 9 a.m. each day.

The Yellowjacket boys and girls ended the first semester in style .... winning by a combined 103 points last night! The Sheridan girls beat Fordyce 62-18, and the Yellowjacket boys defeated the Redbugs 95-34. Those are Sheridan's final high school games before the Christmas break. The Yellowjackets will host their annual "Sheridan Holiday Classic" basketball tournament Dec. 27-29. Games start each day at 10 a.m.

Sheridan Middle School hosted the district's Board of Education members and administrators today. Students from SMS led a campus tour, along with SMS Principal Deborah Mooney and Assistant Principal Angela Douglass. Various SMS band students performed several Christmas songs during lunch.
Good luck to the Sheridan High School varsity cheer squad as they perform in state competition tonight at the Bank of the Ozarks Arena in Hot Springs. Their division competition starts at 5:30 p.m. and SHS performs at 6:30 p.m. Go Jackets!

Sheridan's boys lost a hard-fought 48-44 game against the Pine Bluff Zebras last night at Yellowjacket Arena. Noah Romine led all scorers with 23 points. Sheridan is 7-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play. The Yellowjackets play another home game Friday against Lake Hamilton.
The Lady Yellowjackets took a big 67-33 win over Pine Bluff last night. Sheridan senior Kayden Porter scored a game-high 15 points, followed by Lilly Reid with 14, Emma Goodman with 12, and Addison Hill with 10. Sheridan is now 8-3 overall and 2-0 in the 5A South. #YJNation
