
Congratulations to Sheridan's SR Blue Trap team for advancing to state tournament!
South Regionals were held Saturday, May 6, and they shot 232/250 targets to place fourth out of 125 squads throughout the South Region. They will compete at the state tournament on June 3. We're proud of all our SR trap shooters in grades 9-12 who competed May 6 at the regional tournament.

Sheridan High School JAG students recently attended the National Career Association Conference. SHS competed with students from across the nation and all placed in the top 10. Kyler Morrow won first place nationally in the Financial Literacy category. Emma Collins, Trinity Harris and Graycee Owens finished eighth in Business Plan. Macey Morrow, Raeleigh Nattin and Haley Parrish placed ninth in Creative Decision Making. Congratulations to all!


CHANGE IN SENIOR NIGHT ACTIVITIES START TIME: The Yellowjacket baseball team will honor its senior members tonight with Senior Night activities that will start AFTER their 5:00 game against the Benton Panthers, around 7:00-7:15 p.m. Let's support our Jackets!

Two Sheridan High School seniors -- Josh Handloser and Grayson Allen -- participated in Governor's Scholastic Honors Day on Saturday, April 29, at the Governor's Mansion in Little Rock. Scholastic Honors Day recognizes Arkansas' best and brightest students "who best represent excellent academic achievement," according to the Arkansas Department of Education. Congratulations to Josh and Grayson!


Congratulations to Mrs. Julie for being chosen as the ALA "Red Apple" recipient for the month of April. As Mrs. Karla put it: "Mrs. Julie you go above and beyond for everyone in our building!". Thank you Mrs. Julie for everything that you do.
