These flyers will be going home soon! Sheridan Jr Cheer will host a mini cheer clinic for K - 4. The clinic is Jan 23 at SIS, and the performance will be Jan. 27 at the Yellowjacket Arena during halftime of the 9th grade Lady Jacket basketball game.
Saturday our #robotics teams got the skills award and the excellence award, allowing both to qualify for the state competition.
The excellence award is the highest honor of the tournament.

The Sheridan School District is saddened by the tragic news that two Sheridan High School seniors died in a car accident this evening. Our thoughts and prayers are with these families and their friends at this incredibly difficult time.
This is a very sad day for our students, staff and school community. Death can be difficult for us to understand, especially when it is sudden. It is important that we show compassion and support each other.
The Sheridan High School cafeteria will be open tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. Counselors will be available to help our students and staff cope with this tragedy.

High school students from Mrs. Bradow's and Mrs. Bladley's classes had a great time reading to their buddies today! Their book buddies are students in Mrs. Oliphant's 2nd grade class and Mrs. Newcomb's third grade class. The high school students have exchanged letters with the younger students throughout the semester to encourage them to read and write more often.
