The Sheridan School District announced its building-level "Teacher of the Year" yesterday for each of the district's eight campuses. Winners were selected by their peers. The announcements were made on each campus and included district and building administrators surprising the teachers in their classrooms. (EEI’s Teacher of the Year Tina Potter was unable to be at the presentation and will be honored in person at first opportunity.) Photos include the winners, building administrators and Sheridan Superintendent Chad Pitts. All campus winners will also be honored at the May school board meeting, and a district-wide Teacher of the Year will be selected from among this group. Congratulations to these outstanding teachers! #YJNation #ChooseJoy
