East End Elementary's family night was a huge success! Thank you to the community helpers that made the evening possible.

Ms. Botti's first graders have been studying about light. Today they learned that a shadow is a dark area on a bright surface that occurs when the sun's rays are blocked. The students loved tracing their partners' shadows in the EEE courtyard!

We appreciate having A-State VP of University Relations Shane Broadway speak to EEE second graders today about the importance of education and how critical READING is in every profession. Broadway is a former Speaker of the Arkansas House of Representatives and former ADHE Director.

The 2nd grade students at EEE enjoyed learning about science through hands-on experiences. Classes rotated through six different stations learning how scientists use the scientific method to observe, hypothesize and analyze data. Each activity reinforced their learning about properties of matter, weather, force and energy. As you can see, the students and teachers love Science Day!
