Students in Mrs. Threet's 6th grade English classes have spent the week learning about sentence types and the clauses that create them. Throughout the week, students practiced identifying independent and dependent clauses. Today, they got to put their knowledge to the test competing with their classmates playing Sentence Seekers!

Congratulations to Ms. Strickland for being selected as our Hero of the Week at East End Middle School. Ms. Strickland is our media specialist, but she does so much more than that. She constantly finds ways to assist students and teachers while always maintaining a positive attitude and a smile on her face. EEM would not be the same without her!

Ms. Walker's Career Development classes worked together to solve puzzles without speaking. Students had to use soft skills of teamwork and critical-thinking skills to complete the activity.
