Our newly renovated Sheridan Elementary garden is coming to life! Students from Mrs. Haley’s and Mrs. Hughes’ classrooms rolled up their sleeves and helped plant strawberries and flower bulbs, bringing new life and color to our garden!
We can’t wait to see the fruits (and flowers!) of their labor in the coming months!

This week, Brandon Collier was walking down the hallway when he heard the Pledge of Allegiance begin. Without anyone reminding him, he stopped right where he was, stood respectfully, and waited until the pledge was finished.

Science + sunshine = hands-on learning!
Sheridan Elementary School kindergarten students turned their classroom windows into a science lab as they observed what happens when crayons are warmed by the sun!
Students made observations, watched for changes, and learned firsthand how heat can cause materials to melt.
