Sheridan Elementary School recently received a generous dental grant from The Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation. This grant has enabled the provision of dental kits that include essential items such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, brush cover, timer, and a floss pick.

In an effort to promote oral hygiene among students, Nurse Shelley and Coach Stokes are spearheading educational sessions on dental care. These lessons are designed to enhance students' understanding of oral hygiene practices and include both pre- and post-assessments to evaluate the knowledge gained.

This initiative underscores the importance of maintaining good dental health and aims to equip students with the tools and information needed to care for their oral health effectively.

100 Days Smarter!

Sheridan Elementary students celebrated the 100th Day of School on February 6 with creativity, smiles, and lots of fun! From 100-day shirts to dressing like they were 100 years old, our students showed off how much they’ve learned and grown this year.
