Sheridan Elementary School kindergarten students turned their classroom windows into a science lab as they observed what happens when crayons are warmed by the sun!
Students made observations, watched for changes, and learned firsthand how heat can cause materials to melt.

Sheridan Elementary School recently received a generous dental grant from The Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation. This grant has enabled the provision of dental kits that include essential items such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, brush cover, timer, and a floss pick.
In an effort to promote oral hygiene among students, Nurse Shelley and Coach Stokes are spearheading educational sessions on dental care. These lessons are designed to enhance students' understanding of oral hygiene practices and include both pre- and post-assessments to evaluate the knowledge gained.
This initiative underscores the importance of maintaining good dental health and aims to equip students with the tools and information needed to care for their oral health effectively.
