SIS fourth graders won 1st and 2nd place at Quiz Bowl! Quiz Bowl is an academic competition between two teams where players answer questions on a variety of topics including history, science, literature, art, music, economics, current events, sports, and popular culture. Way to go, 4th Grade Quiz Bowl!!!
A promise was made at SIS over a year ago! We challenged our 5th Grade students to give their all on the ATLAS state test! Any student who scored at or above grade level on any or all of the summative test would be entered to win AirPods! We gave away six sets of AirPods donated by First Trust Home Loans! Congratulations to our lucky winners and a huge shout out to First Trust Homes for supporting SSD!!

SIS focused on our CKH word of the month this week! We worked together as a team to collect canned goods and boxed food for our local shelter. We collected 3 barrels of food for our Thanksgiving Food Drive! Great work team!
