SHS Families: The SHS Choir Concert scheduled for today, May 9, will be rescheduled.
Since school is canceled today, the SHS yearbook will be distributed during lunch Friday. A limited number of extras will be available for $60.
SHS Juniors and Seniors: We will still have AP testing as planned today, May 9, for students who can make it here safely. We are currently calling each of these families individually.
SHS - Yearbooks will be delivered tomorrow (Thurs, May 9) during lunches. If you didn't order one, there will be a limited number for sale on a first-come first-serve basis for $60.
Today we celebrated our 2018-2019 SHS Students of the Month with breakfast. We wish to congratulate them and their parents for this recognition.
SENIORS: The deadline to purchase Awards Banquet tickets is Friday! Tickets can be purchased in the front office with Mrs. Ashley and are $9.00. The banquet will be held on Monday, May 20th at 6:30 pm.
SHS Choir will perform their spring concert on Thurs, May 8 at 7 PM at First United Methodist Church in Sheridan. The concert is free and open to the public.
SHS Bands will perform their spring concert on Tues, May 7 at 7 PM in McKenzie Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
SHS Bands Jazz Night will be on Fri, May 10 at 7 PM at Grace Church in East End. Guest artist will be Little Rock's Twice Sax. The concert is free and open to the public.
SHS Fine Arts will host a Senior Showcase on Sunday, May 5 at 2 PM in McKenzie Auditorium. A reception and college signing will follow.

SHS Sr Awards Banquet will be Mon, May 20 at 6:30PM at SES. Seniors receiving scholarships are invited to attend. Invitations are given to students once scholarship documentation has been received. Guests can purchase tickets for $9ea. Deadline to purchase tickets is Fri, May 10.
We got to watch dress rehearsal last night & are excited for you to see it, too! SHS Theater Department will present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s THE KING & I at McKenzie Auditorium tonight at 7 PM. They will also perform May 3 & 4 at 7 PM, as well as a 2 PM matinee on Sat, May 4.
SHS NHS hosted their 24th annual Senior Citizens’ Banquet this past weekend. With the help of local businesses, over 150 seniors were treated to an afternoon of food, entertainment, & door prizes.
SENIORS: Today is the last day to turn in scholarship documentation to be announced at the awards assembly! Documentation can be turned in to the counseling center or emailed to Mrs. Fortin at lindseyfortin@sheridanschools.org.
SHS Choir & Theater programs hosted Diana Salesky, professional opera soprano today. She conducted a master class with several students, including Anna Holiman, Austin Cox, Joseph Westbury, & Olivia Hicks, on vocal technique, stage presence, and acting technique.
Due to schools being closed today, the deadline has been extended until Monday for the Peggy Allen Memorial and Rotary Club scholarships.
SHS Seniors- It is time to begin submitting pictures for the Senior Slideshow. Up to 4 pictures may be emailed to yjnation2019@gmail.com. The deadline to submit pictures is April 18. A confirmation email will be sent to verify pictures have been received.
