The Henderson State University Clarinet Choir and Saxophone Quartet stopped by SHS today to play for our high school band students. Two of the students in this group are Sheridan graduates: Shelby Fisher and Raegan Cannon.
SHS National Honor Society & Student Council collected over 1400 canned goods for local families. Students were encouraged to bring canned food for the annual Hunger Games competition on Nov.18th.
SHS Students- Thursday is the final day for the Hunger Games canned food drive. Let's finish strong with more than 2000 cans.

SHS FCCLA participated in the district STAR events in White Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 9th. SHS had 6 participants and 2 student judges.
The annual Hunger Games canned food drive begins Nov. 14. Food will be collected by advisories until Nov. 17. SHS's goal is 2000+ cans for our local food pantry. May the odds be in your favor!
"Thankful for a Good Book Exchange" will be Nov. 11-15. Books may be dropped off in the media center until the 15th. Return on the 16th to make the swap. See Mrs. Stockton for details.
