Please see statement below from Nabholz regarding the fire at the Sheridan Middle School construction site this morning. We are grateful for our local first responders and that there were no injuries.
Nabholz Statement: This morning, there was a fire at Sheridan Middle School. Thankfully, this building was in the process of being demolished, so the fire will have no impact on the current construction schedule or overall plan for the campus.
Most importantly, there were no injuries, and there is no risk to the construction workers or public. The fire was quickly contained, and construction activities will continue as planned. Thank you to all the first responders who arrived and helped extinguish the fire!

Their smiling faces are the best thing about walking into the office. Thank you for making the staff and students' lives easier and days brighter! We appreciate all you do!

Mr. Rasnick, the new Sheridan Middle School principal, had a great 1st day thanks to all the Yellowjackets who gave him a warm welcome. He is working alongside Mrs. Gray, the current SJHS principal, for the remainder of the school year to help ensure a smooth transition into the 2019-20 school year when the junior high will split into two middle schools. We are grateful to have him in #YJNation, and we look forward to welcoming, the new East End Middle School principal, Mrs. Lupe, on May 1.
