Sheridan High School's Chamber Choir performed today as part of the Sounds of the Season event put on by the Secretary of State’s office. The group also made singing stops at two nursing homes and the VA Hospital. #YJNation


Sheridan Middle School hosted the ASBOA All-Region Junior High Concert Band auditions on Saturday. Sheridan had 66 students try out, and 56 students made it!
These students will be attending Region Clinic this Friday and Saturday, December 13-14. They will present their concerts in White Hall Saturday afternoon. Congratulations to all! #YJNation

For those who plan to attend the Sheridan 7th, 8th, and 9th grade girls games tonight at Maumelle Middle School, please be aware that purchasing your ticket online is encouraged. The first game begins at 5:00. Tickets purchased online are $5, while tickets bought with cash at the gate will be $10.

The SHS choirs, along with the East End and Sheridan Middle school choirs, will present their Winter Concert on Thursday, December 5 at 6:00 p.m. in McKenzie Hall Auditorium. Our talented choir students have been working hard to prepare an incredible lineup of songs that celebrate the joy, wonder and magic of the season. From timeless classics to exciting new arrangements, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Boys soccer tryouts will December 2-4 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Yellowjacket Stadium. All those trying out need to bring cleats, shin guards, tennis shoes, water and proper athletic attire. Sheridan High School AP teacher, Olivia Lewis, was recently selected by the Arkansas Department of Education to receive an AP Equipment and Materials Grant for her AP Psychology class. The grant will be used to purchase interactive brain models for students to use during their study of the brain and its functions. Congratulations to Mrs. Lewis! #YJNation

Congratulations to the Sheridan High School chess team, who won first place at the high school regional chess competition at the Arkansas River Education Service Cooperative in Pine Bluff. Sheridan's Gavin Goldman also won first place in individual competition. Way to go!
