Senior and SHS Choir President Anna Holiman won first place in the Arkansas Chamber Singers Vocal Scholarship competition held Jan. ​26 in Little Rock. Holiman was awarded a $1,000 scholarship for winning the competition. She plans to study music at Ouachita Baptist University next fall. Congratulations Anna! We are so proud of you!

SSD Families: Red Street, south of Skyline, is closed to southbound thru traffic today for repairs. Red Street, north of Vine, is closed to northbound thru traffic. Use alternate route. SHS field house parking will only be able to turn left (south) out of parking lot. SHS students parked on Home side of lot should use Doc Irwin exit only. SIS car line parents will only be able to exit parking lot during afternoon pick up by turning north onto Red (no right turns).

Today, Sheriff Ray Vance presented an Arkansas Sheriffs' Association Red Ribbon Grant in the amount of $1,996 to the counselors at Sheridan High School. Sheridan High School will use the funds to support a Drug-Free campaign including literature that promotes a drug-free lifestyle and information on how to fight addiction.
