Ms. McCaslin uses students love of gaming to prepare for their Arkansas History exam. Kids love Kahoot and Quizlet competitions and teamwork it takes to reach their goal. Question are student designed for review. Test scores are increasing through interactive play.

It was a busy week for 8th graders at East End Middle School! Character autopsy (analysis) in English, creation of timelines of U.S. voting history as part of Celebrate Freedom Week, and students in Engineering are learning to read a tape measure for the next module.

In 6th grade science, the students have been exploring the methods of heat transfer. They recently experimented with mixing vinegar and baking soda to observe endothermic reactions.

7th grade Lady Jackets brought home a win!


Last week, Layton Wallace surprised his Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Lewis with this original November 23, 1963 newspaper! The class was reviewing primary sources and Mrs. Lewis was pointing out her classroom collection of original newspapers from historic events in US History. Layton brought this newspaper to add to her collection the next day! Thank you to Layton, and the Wallace family for their kind generosity!
