
SMS students received their new planners for this year. They are designed to be used for student organization & communication between school & home. Students should write down, their assignments, test dates, etc. They should take them home & back to school daily.

Please see statement below from Nabholz regarding the fire at the Sheridan Middle School construction site this morning. We are grateful for our local first responders and that there were no injuries.
Nabholz Statement: This morning, there was a fire at Sheridan Middle School. Thankfully, this building was in the process of being demolished, so the fire will have no impact on the current construction schedule or overall plan for the campus.
Most importantly, there were no injuries, and there is no risk to the construction workers or public. The fire was quickly contained, and construction activities will continue as planned. Thank you to all the first responders who arrived and helped extinguish the fire!

Dalton Grissom, Simon Trussell, Tustin Mcdougall, Reid Roark, Tyler Pratt and Gavin Michau had a great time at Boys State last week. Gavin was voted to attend Boys Nation in Washington D.C. this July where he will work closely with Sen. Tom Cotton and meet President Trump.
