EEM - Want S'mores? It's more than a sweet treat - it's a great learning opportunity! Our class planned together to discuss ingredients and tools needed. We worked as a team to keep everything hygienic as we broke apart the chocolate and graham crackers, melted the marshmallows and chocolate, and assembled the S'mores. We then shared samples with teachers and staff around the school. The S'mores were delicious (and a little messy)!

EEM - Do you know Newton's Laws? Mrs. Williams's 8th grade Physical Science students made predictions about the gravitational relationship between two objects when mass and distance are changed. They used a PHET simulation to prove their hypothesis of Newton's 2nd Law.

EEM - Mrs. Vance's class has been spending a lot of time discussing the importance of Personal Space. They used Hula Hoops to practice having enough personal space when sitting in a group and lining up. Of course, we even got a few minutes to have fun with the Hula Hoops!

EEM - Mrs. Vance's students used candy hearts to write number sentences, sort, graph, estimate, measure, sequence largest to smallest, and do addition/subtraction problems. What a fun way to practice our math skills and have a delayed Valentine's Day celebration!
